Hollywood talent Taylor Lautner and Taraji P. Henson have joined the line up slated to help present 2012 Grammy Award nominations this week. Joining previously announced acts including LL Cool J and Rihanna, they were confirmed early Monday.

As previously reported the one hour special will air Wednesday, Nov. 30 from the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE.

In addition to Lautner and Henson presenting, a Hip Hop tribute will also take place with performances from Common, two-time GRAMMY winner LL COOL J, GRAMMY winner Lupe Fiasco, and rap star Rick Ross along with Grandmaster Flash, GRAMMY-winning hip-hop artist Melle Mel, and rapper Scorpio.

The show, which will also announce nominations in several categories as well as feature performances by past GRAMMY winners and/or nominees, will be broadcast in HDTV and 5.1 surround sound on the CBS Television Network (www.cbs.com) from 10 – 11 p.m. ET/PT.

Taylor Lautner and his amazing abs have been busy lately, going on the talk show circuit to promote the box-office smash “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1.” The teenage hunk recently paid his first visit to “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and, well, we couldn’t help but notice a bit of resemblance between Lautner and Matt Damon, when that A-list star first appeared “Ellen” earlier this year. Take a look at Lautner’s appearance for yourselves (skip to 3:40):

Say what you will about Lautner’s acting abilities, but the 19-year-old comes off as affable and charming here. He shows off his dance skills (and his amazing grape-catching ability), and he even flatters DeGeneres by gushing about being a fan of the show. Breaking down his body language, Lautner has good posture, looks relaxed, uses his hands when he talks, and, at one point, crosses his legs. The young Hollywood star is friendly, but still has a reserved, serious quality about him. The onscreen werewolf shows Team Jacob that he’s a good sport, as he even went along with Kristen Stewart’s suggestion to dance.

Then, we’ve got Matt Damon’s first appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” back in March:

Notice the similarities? First of all, Lautner’s voice and serious tone match Damon’s, as does his smile. Damon, during his talk show appearance, also crosses his legs, and uses his hands when he talks to DeGeneres. Damon, who was promoting “The Adjustment Bureau,” showed off his sense of humour as he joked with DeGeneres about a new “Bourne” movie and about raising four daughters. And Damon and Lautner share some facial features: strong jaw, full lips, and a ridge between their eyebrows.

The resemblance is notable because, up until this point, Matt Damon has been a unique star. He represents the modern gentleman: poised, smart, reserved, yet charming. For many fans, his voice alone is instantly recognizable.

Now that Lautner has come along, though, fans may need to listen to radio interviews more carefully. Thanks to Lautner, that signature voice, grin, and poise are no longer Damon’s alone; and, before Damon knows it, Lautner may snag the title of “Sexiest Man Alive” for himself.

But while Lautner may bear a striking similarity to Damon on talk shows, the young star has yet to find his “Good Will Hunting” and prove that the resemblance runs deeper than TV banter. (“Abduction” was a valiant effort on Lautner’s part at being the next Jason Bourne, but it didn’t quite pan out for him.)

Nevertheless, based on Lautner’s charming talk show appearances (plus, you know, that ginormous box-office take for “Breaking Dawn — Part 1″), the guy will probably stick around a little while longer, even if only for occasional grape-catching appearances on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

Now, down to the real issue at hand: Where is George Clooney’s talk show twin?

Twihards came out in full force to see The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 in its opening weekend.

The film — the fourth in the hit vampire series starring Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner — earned a staggering $139.5 million domestically. It earned an additional $144 million worldwide, though it failed to surpass The Twilight Saga: New Moon’s $142.8 million domestic opening in 2009.

The Warner Bros. 3D film Happy Feet Two debuted in second place with $22 million. It grossed just half of the original movie, which opened with $41.5 million in 2006.

Last week’s big winner Immortals fell to third place with $12.2 million. The film — which costars Kellan Lutz and Freida Pinto — has earned $52.9 million since its November 11 debut.

The Adam Sandler and Katie Holmes comedy Jack and Jill fared slightly worse than Immortals with $12 million, falling two spots to fourth place. After four weeks in theaters, Puss in Boots managed to stay in the top five with $10.7 million.

Rounding out the Top 10: Tower Heist (No. 6, $6.9 million), J. Edgar (No. 7, $5.9 million), Harold & Kumar 3D Xmas (No. 8, $2.9 million), In Time (No. 9, $1.6 million) and The Descendants (No. 10, $1.2 million).
